EVERGREEN COUNTRY CLUB

Joe Grovenger and his crew shot lights out on the back nine of the difficult Evergreen Country Club, posting a  29 scramble and 37 dinghy combined total of front 9 of 33 scramble and 40 dinghy for a  total of 139 to edge out Teddy's team total of 144.  Ted Baughn's crew shot a  67 combined front side to lead going into the back by 6.  Congratulations.  Will Enders finished 3^rd with Steve Bass and Mark Lochner finishing ….......................................

Closest to the pins  Carl Gonzalez, Joe Grovenger, Mark Lochner, and Frank Lamiano.

Too bad we had a few no-shows at the last minute as after picking once teams, we had to scramble to pick again, however it didn't rain, and we did tip a few. 

Next Outing will be @ Burden Lake Country Club  October 18 @11:00  Tee.  Breakfast at 9:00.

We can do Calcutta if teams are picked previous Wednesday. Must know who will not attend. So we can pick correct teams.

Tee @ 11:am

GAME:          League Teams (If to many are missing from teams will trade) 4  man

                        modify scramble.

                     a. Everyone hits drive

                     b. Everyone hits from selected drive

c.      One person will play one ball from selected drive, while rest of team plays 3 man scramble.

d.      There will be 2 scores on every hole. (3 man scramble plus dinghy)

                      e.  Lowest  scores will determine team winner.(Add both scores)

                      f. Everyone on team must play the dinghy at least 3 times.( There is no order for the dinghy person, after drives captain will determine  who he shall be).

PRIZES;      Cost will be $20.00 per person

                     1^st place team     40 %

                     2^nd place team    30%

                     3^rd place team    15%

                     Closest to pin on par 3s  $20.00

 There will be Pizza after golf in the clubhouse, You are on you own for beer. (take your own if you like,)  There usually is  a beer girl on course. There will be beer in clubhouse.
